"Preparedness is the key to success."

Alexander Grahan Bell

Thinking of the days as a student of MDRM fills me with nostalgia. The BatStateU Master in Disaster Risk Management program has opened my awareness to more scientific methods of conducting disaster management programs. The lessons and influences of my professors have provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve as a public servant.

RODRIGO DELA ROCA
Batangas City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer

Our journey in MDRM made us function as military professionals and as a team working in diverse environments. The program contributed greatly to the dissemination and implementation of several DRM methodologies and processes. As we conduct ourselves professionally, the program taught us how to apply technology in planning, forecasting, and responding to different disaster scenarios. We are very thankful to be part of the DREAM Academy as we cultivate proficiency and lifelong learning with our classmates and mentors. All we have learned will better equip us as competent risk managers with a profound understanding of serving the people and securing the land.
